Internships

Wade Trim's internship program encourages students to submit their resume and inquire about an internship that would best fit their needs. Internships are offered year-round with the greatest percentage of students electing to work in the summer and fall. Internships typically last up to four months. All internships are paid positions.

College internships may be offered in the following areas:

• Construction technicians
• Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) crews
• Transportation technicians - traffic counting
• Survey
• Design

Interns have also worked in human resource management, information technology and marketing at Wade Trim. We accept internships at all levels, however design internships are limited to late in the junior year or early in the senior year. Interns are also encouraged to return the following year and undertake an internship in another area. Interns are evaluated for full and part-time employment upon completion of their internship if desired. Interns and past interns are also reviewed first when filling full-time positions.

High School internships are currently offered in our Taylor and Bay City offices. We work through the Taylor Tech Center, Romulus High School, and Bay City Co-op Advisory Committee and their member schools to hire co-op students for CADD, GIS and administrative positions.
