As part of the process, our team will be holding a variety of stakeholder meetings and public input sessions. Stakeholder and public input will be essential in a riverfront that ultimately achieves safety and environmental goals and also reflects the open space, non-motorized, and economic development needs of the community.
Input Meetings
A public open house was held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the
Park Place Room at the U of M-Flint Northbank Center, 432 N. Saginaw Street. The City has been working to build upon past studies in order to develop a preliminary design for modifications to the Hamilton Dam as well as preliminary design for restoration of the downstream river corridor. The technical project team was available to discuss the project and share the findings and recommendations for improvements to the dam and downstream river corridor.

A public open house was held on Thursday, February 25, 2010, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the
Park Place Room at the U of M-Flint Northbank Center, 432 N. Saginaw Street. The technical project team was available to discuss the purpose and details of the project and gathered input on conceptual designs and ideas.
