The City of Taylor’s Economic Development Retail Opportunities
brochure was recently recognized by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The brochure won in the category of
special purpose brochure by organizations serving areas with populations of 50,000-200,000. The City
collaborated with Wade Trim to design and create the brochure.
The brochure promotes retail opportunities by highlighting demographics of the City and surrounding communities,
the major commercial corridor, and neighborhood and city-owned land opportunities.
It was distributed to prospective organizations interested in opening a business
in the City.
The IEDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and providing leadership to
the economic development profession. The
IEDC’s professional economic development awards annually recognize excellence in
the economic development profession.
