Our Detroit office moved to the Guardian Building to accomodate the consolidation
of our Water Resources Group. Our staff of 30 occupy the building’s entire
25th floor. We specialize in completing large water resources projects in the areas
of Combined Sewer Overflow, Sanitary Sewer Overflow, Stormwater, Water and Wastewater
treatment. This office primarly serves the City of Detroit and the Great Lakes Region.
Our largest client is the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD). DWSD projects
typically span several years and have included wastewater treatment, collection system
improvements and a $1 billion combined sewer overflow control program. We have also
performed coastal engineering, seawall and shoreline protection, ecosystem restoration,
sediment transport, floodplain, and other planning studies on the Great Lakes for the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Characterized by bold colors and geometric patterns, the 1929 Art
Deco style skyscraper offers spectacular views of
downtown Detroit landmarks including Belle Isle, Campus Martius Park, the Ambassador Bridge,
and the Detroit River.
