David Anthony, RLA, AICP, moved to our Cleveland
office where he is leading a major restoration of West Creek for the Northeast
Ohio Regional Sewer District. He is a Vice President of the firm and previously
worked in our Taylor, Michigan, and Tampa, Florida, offices for 18 years.
Dave protects and enhances the environment through urban stream restoration
projects that improve the quality of life in local communities. He successfully
balances the ecological requirements of a stream with the engineering requirements
of surrounding development to deliver a solution that is sustainable, maintainable
and acceptable to the public. He recently completed two shoreline stabilization
projects along the Rouge River in Birmingham, Michigan, that showcase the local
ecosystem while protecting the surrounding area through re-establishing a flood
plain previously disturbed by development.
Dave has more than 25 years of experience in waterfront planning and design,
watershed planning, ecosystem restoration, park and recreation
facility planning and design, and non-motorized system planning and design.
He has extensive waterfront brownfield redevelopment planning and design experience
having recently completed the Manistee Peninsula Brownfield Redevelopment Plan
and the Alma Waterfront Brownfield Redevelopment Master Plan in Michigan.
