Watson Speaks on "Construction Management at Risk" at ACEC Conference

Doug Watson, PE, President and CEO, recently co-presented the "Construction
Management at Risk" session at the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Fall
Conference, the National Conference on the Built Environment, in Charleston, SC. The session
explored how this alternative process works, what types of projects are best suited for it,
the A/E and contractor selection processes, and effective project team management methods.
As a member of ACEC’s Management Practices Committee, Doug helped develop a new Project
Delivery Series Manual that includes construction management at risk information. The manual
was released at the conference.
