Appointments Bring New Perspectives to Wade Trim Board
Two new corporate Board members have been appointed as part of internal strategies to
grow our staff and advance the firm’s technical leadership. Leah Groya, AICP, and Tony Igwe,
PE, were selected to serve in these annual appointments based on their involvement in the firm’s
recent strategic planning efforts. They will bring new perspectives to Board discussions and help
implement change.

Leah is a key member of the Next Generation Team that was formed
as part of our strategic planning process and the Team has become a standing committee within
Wade Trim. The committee’s mission is to develop and recommend policies for the Board to adopt
and implement that retain and attract the next generation of inspirational and effective leaders.
A certified planner in our Taylor, Michigan office, Leah focuses on environmental and recreational
planning. She is passionate about finding and embracing the balance between environmental restoration
and protection on projects while maintaining use, access, and enjoyment of the natural resources and
open space. She has been with Wade Trim for 10 years.

Tony is a key member of the Technologist of the Future Team that
was also formed as part of the strategic planning effort. The team is determining how to develop
the technologist of the future at Wade Trim. Tony is a professional engineer and Principal in our Pittsburgh
office who is involved in projects using cutting edge technology like the InfoWorks modeling
software on the Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority’s Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow
(CSO) Control Plan. He was one our first Pittsburgh employees bringing CSO expertise that he
gained while working on projects for Detroit and Wayne County. He has been with Wade Trim
for 15 years.
