Appointments Bring New Perspectives to Wade Trim Board

Two new corporate Board members have been appointed as part of internal strategies to grow our staff and advance the firm’s technical leadership. Leah Groya, AICP, and Tony Igwe, PE, were selected to serve in these annual appointments based on their involvement in the firm’s recent strategic planning efforts. They will bring new perspectives to Board discussions and help implement change.

Leah is a key member of the Next Generation Team that was formed as part of our strategic planning process and the Team has become a standing committee within Wade Trim. The committee’s mission is to develop and recommend policies for the Board to adopt and implement that retain and attract the next generation of inspirational and effective leaders. A certified planner in our Taylor, Michigan office, Leah focuses on environmental and recreational planning. She is passionate about finding and embracing the balance between environmental restoration and protection on projects while maintaining use, access, and enjoyment of the natural resources and open space. She has been with Wade Trim for 10 years.

Tony is a key member of the Technologist of the Future Team that was also formed as part of the strategic planning effort. The team is determining how to develop the technologist of the future at Wade Trim. Tony is a professional engineer and Principal in our Pittsburgh office who is involved in projects using cutting edge technology like the InfoWorks modeling software on the Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority’s Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Plan.
