Daytona Operations Renamed Wade Trim/Tomoka

Wade Trim acquired Tomoka Engineering, a 40-person surveying and engineering firm specializing in land development, in January of 2007. Over the past year, we have worked together on projects, capitalizing on each other’s strengths and creating new shared opportunities. Wade Trim’s design resources have greatly increased Tomoka’s offerings. Tomoka’s Daytona and Palm Coast offices have expanded Wade Trim’s reach within Florida. To better reflect design capabilities and enhance Wade Trim’s recognition throughout Florida, Tomoka Engineering will now be known as Wade Trim/Tomoka.

"This past year has proved to be a great transitional year," stated Hal Burroughs, founder and Senior Vice President of Tomoka Engineering. "We have brought survey capabilities to Wade Trim and Wade Trim has raised our engineering capabilities far beyond traditional site design. We are pursuing larger, more complex projects together. The Wade Trim name brings a national reputation for quality and innovation."

The Daytona Beach office now includes Wade Trim engineers working on land development projects. A full range of engineering and surveying services is also provided to land developers from the Palm Coast office. Wade Trim is looking to the Palm Coast and Jacksonville area to expand services to municipal and water resources.

"The name change is a step closer to complete integration of resources between Wade Trim and Tomoka," according to Doug Watson, President of Wade Trim. "In the coming year, Tomoka clients will solidify the connection to Wade Trim. The Wade Trim/Tomoka name combines national engineering expertise with a local reputation."
