Project Goals

The overall goal of this project is to open the remaining 17 miles (Phases II and III) of the Macomb Orchard Trail. The overarching design principles for this project include preservation, restoration, water quality, recreation, and education.

Phases II and III of the Macomb Orchard Trail will begin construction in 2006.
