Greenfield Village Infrastructure Restorations
As construction coordinator, Wade Trim oversaw the infrastructure
restorations at Greenfield Village, Michigan's most popular historic attraction.
Originally built by Henry Ford in 1929, Greenfield Village's 81-acre
infrastructure underwent major renovations and expansion to serve
the current and future needs of the facility. Work included
replacing almost all of the existing sanitary sewers, water
mains, storm sewers, irrigation piping and natural gas piping
plus all electric and communications were reinstalled and expanded
in new underground ductbanks and conduits. The project received the 2004
Honorable Conceptor Award for surveying from the American Council of
Engineering Companies of Michigan and the Michigan Society of Professional
Engineers.
