Detroit River Seawalls   USACOE Reconnaissance Investigation and Conceptual Design Documentation Report for Detroit River Seawalls
Wade Trim performed a Section 905(b) Reconnaissance Study authorized under Section 568 of the 1999 Water Resource Development Act for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The goal was to identify high priority areas requiring repair and rehabilitation of the existing shoreline, and areas where potential for ecosystem enhancement existed. The study identified 10 sites where Federal interest existed and recommended that design development proceed through a Concept Design Documentation Report (CDDR). The CDDR presented concept recommendations for the sites and provided a final report that included a summary of site information, drawings of recommended alternatives and preliminary cost estimates.
Lake Maggiore Park   Lake Maggiore Park Comprehensive Master Plan
Wade Trim developed an environmental planning and design effort on Lake Maggiore Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. The park is 800 acres with a 350-acre nature preserve that is home to environmentally-sensitive species like the Bald Eagle. The work will be complemented by the $10 million water quality program designed to address the eutrophic condition of the lake. The goal was to organize and provide for diverse land uses while creating a balance with the needs of protected species and sensitive natural habitats. Wade Trim is also helping land users reach an agreement for the most efficient use of space and resources.
