City of Palm Bay Asset Management Program and CMMS
The City of Palm Bay, FL, is implementing an asset management program and Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS) throughout its Utility Department to improve record-keeping and emphasize preventive
rather than corrective maintenance to reduce costs. Once enough data was populated within the system, Wade Trim
created custom Crystal Reports to help quantify the new information and automate some of their processes.
These Reports serve as a dashboard for key performance indicators ranging from inventory and maintenance costs
to employee utilization and work backlog. Implementation of their Cityworks CMMS was completed for their
new South Regional Water Treatment Plant and is underway at their Troutman Water Treatment Plant.

EFSDS Pump Station Maintenance, Rehabilitation and Replacment Plan
The Evergreen-Farmington Sewage Disposal System’s (EFSDS) ten pump stations were evaluated during development of a pump station maintenance, rehabilitation and replacement plan for the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, MI. The plan will be integrated into the County’s ongoing development of an overall master plan for the EFSDS to guide future capital improvement projects and maintenance activities. The pump station plan provides a template for asset management that will preserve operational efficiency within the EFSDS and can be used at other critical facilities. |

Tittabawassee Township Department of Public Works
Wade Trim provides Department of Public Works managerial assistance for Tittabawassee Township, MI, for
all functions including water, wastewater, cemetery and motor pool. Other responsibilities include facilitating public
works projects, supervising Township staff, providing emergency response to water and wastewater operational problems,
assisting with equipment warranties, and preparing monthly operating reports and an annual proposed capital
improvement plan. We also identify and assist with grant applications, process improvements and asset management.
