Meghan Butler, PE, ENV SP, joined our Transportation Group as a Senior Project Manager in our Flint, MI, office, where she is leading and supporting various Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and large campus transportation projects. Her expertise includes operations and maintenance of facilities and structures, asset management, and process development.

A big picture thinker, Meghan excels at efficiently and effectively moving major projects toward completion. Her experience spans transportation design and program oversight, capital project budgeting, multi-year capital maintenance planning, and management of security and intelligent transportation systems. Her previous work has included quality oversight, FAER eligibility, process development, and support for the inspection of State of Michigan Big Bridges including the Blue Water and Mackinac Bridges. Most recently, Meghan served as Deputy Project Manager on the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority’s Gordie Howe International Bridge project, leading operations, maintenance, and rehabilitation, and supporting design and construction oversight.

Along with being a Michigan Professional Engineer and Envision Sustainability Professional, Meghan is federally certified in safety inspection of tunnels and in-service bridges, and is an MDOT Bridge Inspection Team Leader. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Wayne State University and a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
