Our Construction Services group has expanded in Cleveland with the addition of two experienced professionals: Kathryn DeMuesy, CCM, LEED AP, Senior Project Manager, and Jim Weber, PE, Senior Professional.

Known for her collaborative leadership style and ability to integrate construction insight into the design process, Kathryn brings more than 20 years of experience managing construction for large-scale infrastructure projects. Her work includes water and sanitary systems, heavy civil and deep excavation, vertical construction, and transportation initiatives. Kathryn’s expertise spans project management, construction engineering, staff and subcontractor supervision, stakeholder coordination, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, and cost control.

Most recently, Kathryn led two major projects in Akron: the $17-million Lock 3 Park Revitalization that transformed the city’s downtown entertainment center, and the $60-million Headworks Project at the Akron Water Reclamation Facility. Kathryn holds a BS degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Akron.

Jim brings over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, including 30 years with the City of Akron, where he served as Construction Division Manager and oversaw a capital budget exceeding $100 million that included CSO Consent Decree compliance efforts. For the past decade, Jim worked in business development and project management for a construction management firm in northeast Ohio.

Jim specializes in public infrastructure projects across water/wastewater, transportation, and vertical construction. A strong relationship builder, he is poised to help drive strategic growth for our Construction Services in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Jim focuses on saving clients time and cost through detailed constructability reviews, precise scheduling, and accurate cost estimation. He holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron.
