Jeff Kart has joined Wade Trim as Grants Manager where he will support infrastructure and community-focused projects through grant research and writing, and strategic collaboration. His work will help secure funding for Wade Trim clients, such as water utilities, municipalities, and transportation authorities, and enhance client communications for projects that can create lasting community impact.

Jeff brings 15 years of experience in strategic communications, media outreach, and research. He previously served as Executive Editor for the International Joint Commission, where he significantly expanded newsletter readership, and has led media outreach for projects including a $15-million Great Lakes water levels study. He has also contributed to publications including Forbes.com, The Atlantic, and Yahoo! News. Drawing on his background in journalism and environmental policy, he believes storytelling is the most effective way to convey the importance of infrastructure projects and their benefits to communities.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
