Collaborative Delivery

Collaborative delivery is a catch-all term for project delivery methods that involve significant interaction between the owner (including O&M staff), designer, and contractor. This interaction fosters opportunities to improve project outcomes through technology used, construction methods, facility configuration, funding avenues, and risk management.

Understanding an owner’s objectives for cost, schedule, risk, performance, and innovation helps determine whether a collaborative delivery method is appropriate and which method makes the most sense. Our experience includes fixed price design-build (FPDB), progressive design-build (PDB), design-build-operate (DBO), and construction manager at-risk (CMAR) delivery methods that maximize value for clients.
