The Michigan Association of Planning (MAP) honored Wade Trim’s Urban Planning and Design Practice Lead Adam Young, AICP, with the Helen Foss Outstanding Volunteer Award at their Annual Conference in Kalamazoo, MI. The award was established in 2004 to recognize planners who have gone above and beyond to positively influence the work of the professional organization. MAP leadership noted Adam’s longstanding service to the profession, including serving as a “go-to” instructor of workshops and an expert in development of training programs.

Drawing on 20 years of experience in the practical application of zoning and land development, Adam understands the myriad issues and challenges facing Michigan communities and counties. His expertise encompasses long-range master plans, recreation plans, downtown plans, neighborhood studies, and corridor studies.
