James Gunther, PE, joined our Tampa office as a Senior Construction Engineer where he will oversee delivery of large water and wastewater projects throughout Florida. With more than 35 years of experience in design and construction engineering, he brings expertise in trenchless pipeline construction and rehabilitation, inspection, and start-up services for water and wastewater treatment plant equipment. His past projects include potable and reclaimed water mains, sanitary sewers, low-pressure sewers, sanitary force mains, water and wastewater pumping and storage facilities, and water and wastewater treatment plants, including water reclamation facilities.

Skilled at addressing construction challenges in large, urban communities, Jim has worked with the City of Tampa and New York City and will be involved in supporting their ongoing projects. He has also worked with Tampa Bay Water, City of St. Petersburg, and Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. Jim holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.
