Nita Naik, PE, ENV SP, has joined our Water Resources Group as a Senior Project Manager in Tampa, where she is serving clients locally and throughout the Southeast. She brings 12 years of experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, and reclaimed water design along with water reuse, sustainability, and project management. She is also an Envisionâ„¢ Sustainability Professional who is passionate about developing sustainable infrastructure solutions.

A long-time Tampa resident, Nita has managed and designed multiple projects for the City of Tampa’s Utility Capital Improvement Program (UCAP) encompassing planning, design, permitting, and general construction services for 55,000 feet of water transmission main up to 48 inches in diameter. Highlights of her work with Florida counties and municipalities include pipeline, pump station, and process mechanical design projects for Hillsborough and Orange Counties, the City of St. Petersburg, and the Orlando Utility Commission.

An active member of the Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA), Nita served as West Coast Chapter secretary, vice-chair, and chair, and is a past chair and current member of FWEA’s Water Reuse, Resources and Resiliency (WR3) Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering in Pune, India, and a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
