In 2026, Wade Trim is celebrating a remarkable milestone—100 years of delivering infrastructure solutions for clients. Our origin dates to 1926 when a civil engineer started a business designing roads and sewers for local communities. This firm was acquired by Bob Wade and Don Trim, our founders that instilled the core values and sense of integrity we still hold today.

“Infrastructure design has always been a mainstay at Wade Trim,” said Andy McCune, President and CEO. “It’s the core connection between the markets we serve for public and private clients. It has also been the foundation for gaining new clients, building expertise, and expanding our geographies.”

Our growth has been guided by a commitment to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments, a strong culture of collaboration, and long-standing partnerships with clients. We deliver practical and innovative solutions in the water, energy, industrial/commercial, community design, and transportation markets. With more than 850 employees and 23 offices in nine states, our disciplines include engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction services.

“We have built an amazing company,” Andy adds. “As an employee-owned firm, we believe our culture and ownership mindset have been key drivers of our sustainability and success. Our journey reflects generations of employees and clients who worked together, adapting to major changes in the economy, markets, and technology.”

In gratitude to our clients, Wade Trim contributed $100,000 to the Wade Trim Foundation to invest in non-profits and programs that serve others and make the communities we work in stronger. Grants are awarded annually to eligible non-profit applicants who best align with the Foundation’s mission to positively impact the environment, communities, and quality of life through innovative infrastructure investments.

Throughout 2026, we will be sharing our defining moments and featured projects on our 100 Years page.
