Shen Zhou, PE, has joined our Water Resources Group in Atlanta, GA, as Principal Engineer. He brings 20 years of experience in delivering water and wastewater solutions to clients in Georgia and throughout the Southeastern US. Shen is well-versed in design and construction of large diameter water transmission and sewer conveyance systems. His expertise lies in site development, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, combined sewer overflow (CSO) control, diversion systems for sewer tunnels, and stormwater management. His construction experience includes site inspection, construction document review, scheduling, and cost estimating.

Previously serving as design lead and project manager on multiple infrastructure improvements for the City of Atlanta, Shen has overseen design and construction of over 12 miles of water transmission main up to 48 inches in diameter. His CSO and sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) control project experience for the City includes the South River Tunnel, the Peachtree Creek Sewer Relief project, and the McDaniel Basin Sewer Separation.

A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers of Georgia, Shen earned a BS degree from Tongji University in Shanghai, China, and an MS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
