The New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) honored Vincent Rubino, PE, Vice President in our New York City office, with two awards for service at their Annual Meeting. Recognizing 30 years of involvement in the NYWEA, Vincent received a John Chester Brigham Award for extraordinary personal service to the association. He also received a Committee Service Award as outgoing Chair of the Sustainability Committee, that recognizes his commitment and dedication while serving in a committee leadership position. Vincent remains active in the NYWEA’s Program Committee.

Vincent’s 45-year career has focused on the water and wastewater treatment fields. He has managed design and construction of wastewater facilities worth over $500 million as well as more than a dozen facility plans and odor studies for wastewater treatment plants and biosolids facilities. His experience encompasses complex facility planning, design and construction management of various New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s (NYCDEP) projects. He is currently serving as Project Director for Design Services for the Bronx River Long Term Control Plan.
